Škoda MB-110R

The Škoda 1000 MB (colloquially known as the “embéčko”) is a lower-middle-class passenger car produced by the Czechoslovak company Automobilové závody, n. p., in Mladá Boleslav from 1964 to 1969. It was the first mass-produced Škoda car with a unibody body and the company's first car with an “all at the rear” layout, meaning a rear-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive.

Its maximum speed was 120 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h took 27 seconds, and fuel consumption was around 7.5 liters per 100 km.

In addition to the basic and most widespread 1000 MB with a 1.0-liter engine and “Standard,” “De Luxe,” or “Tourist” trim, the range included the 1100 MB with a more powerful 1.1-liter engine and “De Luxe” trim, and the 1000 MBG with a twin-carburetor 1.0-liter engine and “De Luxe” trim. Small numbers of the unique two-door 1000 MBX and 1100 MBX models, both with “De Luxe” trim, complemented the sedan range.

A total of 443,141 vehicles were produced.

The Škoda 100 and Škoda 110 are nearly identical passenger cars produced by the Czechoslovak automaker AZNP from 1969 to 1977. They replaced the Škoda 1000 MB and Škoda 1100 MB.
