Rear lights

Most Škoda 1200-1 vehicles underwent period folk modernizations – replacement of individual small round lights with unified ones from the 1202 type and others. When renovating this assembly to its original condition, it is necessary to first determine what it originally looked like, then obtain original lights (covers and bowls), manufacture light mounting brackets (trays), and possibly repair cut fenders.

The original rear lights have a chrome ring with a diameter of 70 mm and a bowl with a diameter of 59 mm. The covers are made of glass (not plastic). The system consists of three types of lights: turn signal with a pointed cover, brake light with a slightly convex cover, and tail light with reflector in a flat cover (combined light).

The glass surface was manufactured in two variants – with coarser and finer texture. Below you will find detailed photographs of the individual components.
