Michal Kopecký, Protivín — Škoda 1101, 1947. According to registration 1948, but VIN and series 11/1947.
The car was reportedly built in Rousínov on order for a hospital in Brno. If anyone has more information about it, I’d appreciate any message. Thank you!
Luboš Bazala, Dalešice — Škoda 1101. Manufactured 26 Sept 1946, sold 2 Oct 1946, chassis completed 17 July 1946 (the first production car was made on 7 May 1946... :-)).
Bohuslav Švarc — Škoda Popular Sport 1100 OHV, 1939. The restoration took three years; some parts bought from you.
Ivan Žižka, Örkelljunga, Sweden — Škoda 1101 Roadster, 1949. Type 938, built on 12 October 1949, sold on 3 December 1949, exported to Sweden. Paint 48 (yellow), upholstery red leather. The chassis was handed to Kvasiny on 23 August 1949, and the completed car returned to the main plant on 12 October 1949.
Continuation — The photo is from last May (2018) at our place – as you can see, spring always comes!
Rudolf van Rossem, Prinsenbeek, Netherlands — Škoda Populár 1100, 1939. 2016 – “Hello Václav. The car is still in project state. Needs work on the body, interior and brakes. I hope to restore it in the coming years.”
Pavel Loubek, Prague — Škoda 1101 VO. Sending a few photos of my veteran before and after restoration. Best regards, P. L.
Václav Janík, Radovesnice — Škoda Tudor. As I disassemble the car, I see what needs to be done. I bought a Tudor that had stood for 46 years in a garden overgrown with bushes, so this is not a renovation but a rescue mission. I had to rebuild three-quarters of the body completely, including the bumpers. I’m photographing the renovation as it progresses. Interestingly, after all those years, the engine started right up after changing the oil and cleaning the carburetor — purring like a satisfied cat.
Continuation — The car’s story: originally served as an ambulance in Kladno, rebuilt into a two-door sedan in 1960. Deregistered in 1968 and stood in nettles in Poříčany ever since. The rescue is going well so far; hopefully, it will come to life again soon.
Antonín Grmela, Pustiměř — Škoda Populár. Thank you for your cooperation, thanks to you I finished the Popular chassis.
Milan Pazdera, Dřevnovice — Škoda Tudor, 1948. Sending a funny photo of my Tudor when I brought it home. I bought the car because it used to belong to my grandfather.
